Dr. Döring's professional career has led him into numerous operational roles. Coming from a family business himself, he was an active and forward-thinking architect – with a state-of-the-art approach – in modernising traditional structures, internationalising previously locally focused companies, and integrating acquired businesses. He has worked under various shareholder constellations: family-owned enterprises, publicly listed companies, and private equity. He can point to extended international assignments in Italy, France, the UK, Turkey, and China, among others. He is particularly familiar with organisations shaped by a mid-sized business culture. His consulting approach is characterised by openness, trust, and a focus on his clients' objectives. He addresses difficult questions, develops sustainable, long-term solutions with his clients, without losing sight of their immediate challenges.

Dr. Döring studied Mechanical Engineering with a specialisation in Power Plant Technology at Ruhr University Bochum, where he also earned his doctorate. He complemented his technical knowledge with an Executive MBA from Kellogg Business School/WHU. Systemic coaching training rounds out his profile and strengthens his ability to assess and develop leaders.
