With his solid background in business administration and many years of management experience, Hardy Scherer has been instrumental in establishing the Rochus Mummert Group as one of Germany's leading owner-managed executive search firms. Since joining the company in 2008, Hardy Scherer has been part of the executive management team. He has modernised established structures, strategically advanced the organisation, and opened up new, future-oriented business areas.

He deepened his systemic understanding of organisations and leadership through training as a systemic coach and consultant – a shift in perspective that continues to shape his view on communication, change, and accountability to this day. His work stands for sustainable growth, entrepreneurial clarity, and genuine commitment to the organisation.

Hardy Scherer's professional journey is characterised by entrepreneurial thinking with an international perspective. After studying Business Administration in Passau and Chicago, he honed his strategic expertise over many years at leading management consultancies before taking on senior leadership roles early in his career within mid-sized and owner-managed businesses.
