Katrin Herber

With more than a decade of experience and over 200 assignments, Katrin Herber has developed a keen understanding of organisations undergoing change. She advises established industrial companies as well as IT service providers, software companies and InsurTech businesses. She applies innovative analytical approaches selectively, wherever they can add precision to search strategies and provide a sounder basis for selection decisions.

Her perspective extends beyond the capabilities a leader brings to the role today. She is equally interested in what that person can develop and achieve in the future. Katrin Herber therefore pays particular attention to intellectual curiosity, personal drive and the willingness to take ownership and grow beyond existing capabilities.

Her goal is to help clients recognise this potential and appoint leaders who can grow with the organisation. This development-oriented perspective informs her professional work as well as her personal commitment as a Les Mills instructor.

Katrin Herber began her career at an international audit and consulting firm, where she worked in Forensic Services and contributed to special audits and compliance audits. She moved into executive search in 2011 and joined Rochus Mummert in 2017. Today, as Senior Manager, she oversees assignments from start to finish – from clarifying the mandate and defining the role through to the successful appointment.

Katrin Herber studied Business Administration at the University of Cologne, specialising in Controlling, Corporate Finance and Economics. She graduated with a degree in Business Administration and holds the German qualification of Diplom-Kauffrau.
