With a focus on internationally active manufacturing industries, he supports companies in mechanical and plant engineering, the automotive and supplier industry, the electrical industry, drive and automation technology, the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, as well as industrial services, among others.
After studying Industrial Engineering at the University of Hamburg and Hamburg University of Technology, Markus Gehrt began his career at Körber AG and Vossloh AG. Before joining Rochus Mummert, he was Managing Director of Putzmeister Concrete Pumps GmbH and Board Member of Metabo AG, with responsibility for all value-creating operational business areas. During this time, he realised growth and internationalisation strategies, was responsible for restructurings and strategic realignments, and led several international subsidiaries, including in China and Turkey. Markus Gehrt is also a trained business coach.
