    Our client is a member of a leading global automotive supplier and operates with a global network of sales, engineering and manufacturing facilities. With successful synergy, the corporate group has further optimized configuration of global resources, effectively promoting globalization in the automotive industry. In the course of further growth and optimization of global footprint the vacancy of the EU Regional President is to be filled.

    Aufgaben-/Stellenbeschreibung

    The position holder will report directly to the president/CEO and will lead the European subsidiaries, with overall management responsibility including P&L for the entire European business. He/she has to ensure company business growth in Europe; main tasks will be Business Development, M&A including integration of newly acquired companies and further optimization of operations. He/she will also develop strategies into a business plan to achieve maximum profit on invested capital for the region, develop specific marketing plans, business processes and business performance measures to drive growth in key markets. Another main responsibility is the conduct and maintenance of strong relationships with key accounts, industry and trade associations on senior level.

    Erfahrung und Kompetenzen

    Qualified with a university degree, preferably in Engineering, you should provide several years of senior executive management experience in the automotive industry - ideally in multinational corporations - with a P&L experience operating in a business unit or entity in excess of USD 2 billion. You should have a strong reputation with the German OEM customers, a strategic view on growth of business and a strong financial and operations acumen. Strong leadership skills as well as a strong customer orientation are desirable, as well as significant experience in manufacturing operations, business development, marketing and/or sales management along with a demonstrated track record of success and performance.
