    European HQ of privately held Asian Hidden Champion

    Our client is an Asian privately held group of companies which serves the IoT and automation industries with technologically outstanding products and services worldwide. Products and solutions connect devices with networks and clouds, enabling users (men and machines) to communicate fast and safe in all technical environments. The company has grown steadily over the last decades, increasing market share and financial success respectively. It is working throughout the triad markets using own and distributors’ structures. The total revenue accounts for about 300m Euros, whereas 1/3 is gained in the European markets. The group wants to accelerate the growth, participating in the vast development of specific market segments, especially in Europe and Asia. The European HQ is located in Munich/Germany with affiliated structures in France and Great Britain. It accounts for roughly 1/3 of the total business. In the future, the German organization has to serve as a foothold in the industrial automation business including the multiple national research and development facilities and initiatives in this field. Today, the European structure comprises sales (distributors and key accounts), marketing, application engineering as well as a service/repair unit.

    Aufgaben-/Stellenbeschreibung

    Hands-on Sales Professional in IIoT and Automation Business (products, services, solutions)

    You will be responsible for the execution of the channel strategy with selected channel partners (Distributors, System Integrators and Resellers) within the DACH region. This includes negotiation of joint business objectives, development of plans to achive them and control of execution. You will work with the partners to grow sales, develop marketing and technical capabilities that enable high customer satisfaction with products and services. Your responsibility particulary covers achieving and exceeding sales quota and business targets in the DACH region, serving as lead point of contact for all channel related activities and colloboration with sales operations, product marketing, technical support, marketing and finance teams to support and develop channel partners. With vertical markets and strategic account teams you will colloborate on business with key accounts served by channel partners. You will influence the strategy of the company by participating in relevant task forces and providing market intelligence on vertical market segments, competion and potential key applications. Finally you keep the internal and external stakeholders up to date on the status of your business activities.

    Erfahrung und Kompetenzen

    Academically trained individual with a proven track record within a channel sales unit and serving international markets

    You are an academically trained individual (bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience) with a proven track record within a channel sales unit, serving international markets and industrial clients with high-tech communication devices and solutions. You have 5 to 8 years of working experience and at least 5 years of sales experience in the field of IIoT and automation business. You should have experiences with European industrial market and business practice, management and account development and you are familiar with the technological challenges caused by the speed of change in applications. You have shown the ability to negotiate value contracts with industrial customers, channel partners as well as partnerships with technologically compatible solution partners. You have demonstrated sharp analytical thinking with a clear conceptual outcome and a pragmatic sustainable action rollout. You decide entrepreneurial, but you do understand and accept corporate boundaries and a corporate spirit which serves as a differentiating competitive lever. You are fostering team spirit and individual excellence. You will encounter an open-minded corporate headquarter which actively supports the regional business in a professional way. Your travel time will be 50% of the total time and your language skills in English and German are fluent (written and spoken).
