    Aufgaben-/Stellenbeschreibung

    As Managing Director, the job holder bears overall P&L responsibility for the company and forms the core management team together with the Chief Finance Officer. The job holder has direct responsibility for sales, marketing, after sales, technology and human resources as well as for managing the network of more than 30 dealers and private service workshops and importers. The main tasks of this position include the achievement of the ambitious growth targets, the development and implementation of the measures derived from the market strategy via a roadmap with clear milestones, the further development of the dealer network as well as direct sales, ensuring market-oriented coverage with service centers and strengthening the brand as a premium provider in the Chinese market. A corresponding willingness to travel and reliable English skills are a prerequisite, other foreign languages (Chinese, German) are advantageous.

    We are looking for a university-trained, market-oriented leader in vehicle technology, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or business administration, logistics- or transport-management with a comprehensive technical background. Several years of experience in China or Asia in the leading sales function of a large, well-known international manufacturer of capital goods is required, ideally from the commercial vehicles, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, forklift trucks sectors or their direct suppliers as a business unit manager or as a managing director of a foreign subsidiary with P&L responsibility. You have extensive experience in the sales and service of complex products and solutions in need of explanation, in brand positioning in the premium segment and in further expansion, management and development of dealer networks and service partners with outstanding results. Through your many years of comparable leadership responsibilities in China or related Asian cultures, you have developed your intercultural competence with a particular focus on Chinese/Asian work styles, leadership and business culture. Proven competence in building and maintaining long-term relationships with business partners completes your profile.
