    Our client is a member of a leading global automotive supplier with headquarters in Germany and various manufacturing sites worldwide. With successful synergy, the corporate group has further optimized configuration of global resources, effectively promoting globalization in the automotive industry. In the course of further growth and expansion of business, the vacancy of Managing Director (COO) is to be filled.


    The position holder will manage, control and organize all business processes and operational performances with emphasis on responsible staff management and cost-optimized adjustment of operating performance, staff deployment and resource planning; coordination of material flow as well as securing of product availability. He/she will be responsibility for production (plants in Germany, Europe, Asia and Latin America), Quality Management (Supplier Development, Assurance, Planning) and Program Management (Initiation, preparation and implementation of global product- and series launches).

    Erfahrung und Kompetenzen

    Qualified with a university degree, preferably in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering - ideally with focus on manufacturing and production technology, you should provide several years of international leadership experience within a manufacturing company of similar size, operating in the automotive interior industry. You should also have experience in quality- and program management as well as in the establishment and management of international production sites in the automotive business. This includes staff management and -development, optimization of manufacturing processes and value-adding structures with proven successes concerning the improvement of relevant KPI’s and in international (beyond Europe) operation-oriented (project-) responsibilities. Furthermore, a documented, successful activity for increasing profitability in a complex, quality-oriented production company is required.
