    Aufgaben-/Stellenbeschreibung

    The opportunity offers an entrepreneurial, interculturally experienced leader significant scope to seize opportunities and to further develop and shape the company, with the backing of one of the most successful German corporate groups in its sector

    The task at stake represents a key function for the future success of the business, the product group and the brand. The job holder will lead the company and will have full profit and loss responsibility. He will report to the CTO of the parent company and will be assisted by a competent and efficient management team in order to deliver on the objectives. Your role priorities amongst others are the development and implementation of measures derived from the group strategy and presenting these in a roadmap with clear milestones to ensure the long-term direction and operational management of the company, establishing a modern management and performance culture, together with people development that encourages essential innovation and meets the development needs of junior staff and key talent in particular. Furthermore, the optimization and modernization of value creation processes, including the creation of efficient structures and achievement of operational excellence due to the introduction of lean production and shop floor management. A willingness to travel, fluent English and Italian language skills and deep knowledge of German and Italian business culture are required. Other foreign languages would be an advantage, German language skills are beneficially.

    Erfahrung und Kompetenzen

    We are looking for an university-trained, market-aware engineer type, qualified in electrical engineering/automation technology/mechanical/plant engineering or industrial engineering and management with an additional business qualification or equivalent, commensurate with the requirements of this entrepreneurial role. An additional General Management qualification would be an advantage. You spent several years of professional experience as a generalist, managing autonomous business units or divisions with P&L-responsibility in Italy. Your experience should have been gained with well-known larger or medium-sized manufacturing companies, ideally in the field of connectivity, cables, electrical engineering, control technology, automation technology or automotive supply with a track record of outstanding results. Indepth, experience-based understanding of Italy’s leadership, organizational and business culture, extensive experience in international B2B-sales and business development in the field of technically advanced products/solutions are mandatory. Experience in the development, production and supply of high-volume, technical products complete your profile.
