Rainer Decker has a Master's degree in Computer Science (Diplom-Informatiker) and has had years of experience in the international sales and marketing of software products requiring explanation and IT services in the media, telecommunications, and finance sectors, as well as top-level management experience with major corporations and small- and medium-sized companies.

His previous positions included Managing Partner of a company active in the software development, consulting, and project management fields, and Managing Director for several companies belonging to an international media group.

Prior to this, he worked as a country manager for an American software company, responsible for all sales in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Eastern Europe. At the beginning of his professional career, he worked as an IT consultant and software developer in the areas of artificial intelligence / expert systems, intelligent process automation and object-oriented software development.

Some years ago, he switched to the personnel consulting sector, focusing on the areas of information technology, executive, search, and coaching.
